As you can see they are both blank... So I need help from my lovely readers. What should I call it? The only thing I can think of is Mili Mondays. It doesn't have to be on Monday though I haven't decided exactly what day I will feature it, it just needs to be catchy! Looking forward to your suggestions!

Any Ideas?
I got several volunteers for the new segment featuring military significant others, I'm super excited to get it started but I'm having trouble coming up with a catchy name, any ideas? I have made a button and banner for it already.

Will you participate?
I came across these poems this morning and I was inspired. I was hoping I could get my readers to participate in this with me. I want to start doing a segment here once a week, where I will feature a military significant other. He/She can post whatever they like, your favorite pictures, artwork, a poem, a story, a song that helps them through the rough times, even just some advice for others, or be creative and share them all! Will any of you participate? If you have something you'd like to share be the first one to participate! E-mail me at MrsGambizzle@yahoo.com. It will be a great way to share your blog, and your story with others. I will feature your blog along with whatever it is you want to share, so start emailing me I can't wait to share your goodies!
My darling husband
My dear brave sailor
We must stay strong
To keep us together
My dear brave sailor
We must stay strong
To keep us together
The days may be long
The nights become later
We must stay focused
To keep us together
The nights become later
We must stay focused
To keep us together
When you come home
It'll be better
We will embrace
Our lives now, together
It'll be better
We will embrace
Our lives now, together
~Army~
Some people wonder why I do it
It's because I'm proud of what he does
I love him because I can
This "toughest job" they speak of
I volunteered for it
I promised I would support him
He knows I'll never quit
Camouflage from head to toe
he's my hero through and through
Standing here so tall and proud
I love my soldier it's true
while he's gone
The days grow long
The nights are even longer
I tell myself everyday
the distance will make us stronger
It matters not how far he is
Nor how long he is gone
I'm waiting here with open arms
Whenever he comes home
but for now I patiently wait
I take it a day at a time
It's all worth it
To call that soldier mine
I take it a day at a time
It's all worth it
To call that soldier mine
*Marines*
You can have your Navy blue
I have the world's best fighting man
to introduce to you
His uniform is different
The best you've ever seen
The German call him "Devil Dog"
His real name is Marine
The German call him "Devil Dog"
His real name is Marine
He was born in San Diego
The place where God forgot
The sand is eighteen inches deep
The sun is blazing hot
He gets up every morning
before the rising sun
He'll run a hundred miles or more
Before the day is done
He's deadly with a rifle
A bayonet made of steel
He took the warrior's calling card
He's mastered how to kill
and when he gets to heaven
St. Peter he will tell
One more Marine reporting sir
I've served my time in hell
So listen all you girls
To what I have to say
Go find yourself a Marine
To love you every day
He'll hug you and kiss you
He'll treat you like a queen
There is no better fighting man
Than a United States Marine
Grown up Stuff
Yeah we're really grown up huh? We stole the 3D glasses from the theater then went out, consumes massive amounts of alcoholic beverages, and wore the glasses all night. haha, but for the first time in my life I feel like I have developed somewhat of a routine. I Wake up at 4:30, take the "kids" outside to pee, then I usually "conserve water" (as Nicole would put it) lol and shower with the hubby. Then I make him breakfast, pack his lunch, and we say our goodbye before he's off for a long day at work. The first thing I catch myself doing after he leaves is to jump on the computer, and start my daily bloggy reading. I think I'm addicted seriously. Hubby has even dedicated "No blogging" times such as weekends when he's home, and at night when he gets off work. lol Is anyone else as addicted as I am? I really hope I'm not the only one! Things are really looking up though, I'm very excited I feel like we have more control over our lives. WE are still working on the "future plans" though. We can't seem to decide what we want. I want him to stay in the Navy, he wants to get out. We both want kids, just not now. We can't decide where we want to go if he does get out, stay here, go back to Texas, or start somewhere completely new? There is so much to decide on!
I stress over money a lot more than my husband does. I think it's because I don't work & if anything goes wrong, or if we ever come up short I feel guilty. I feel like it's my fault because I don't bring in a whole lot with just the jewelry. We like it this way though, we spend lots of time together being silly, the house is ALWAYS clean, he gets three home cooked meals a day (most of the time), and he never has to do anything when he gets home, he can just relax. My husband, up to this point has been the one to manage our money, but I feel like it's too much for him to deal with working all day & the stress of taking care of the financial stuff too. So we have begun to switch over so that I can take care of the bills and budgeting. So far I think I'm doing a good job, I've already managed to put money in our savings account, take care of all the bills, and still manage somehow to have plenty left over for the ENTIRE week of his family being here when they wanted to go out every single day.
I also started a list. It contains all the important stuff we need to take care of before the Big D. Stuff like getting me on the car insurance since I have FINALLY learned how to drive the Mini Cooper. I plan to move back to Texas while he is away I just feel like I would do better being around family. I am nervous about it though, I really like it here in VA. Have any of you ever done this before? How did it work out? I would greatly appreciate any advice!

Two hearts, One love.
I couldn't fall asleep last night because the people above us were up until 3am playing video games which I could hear loud and clear in my bedroom. So instead I was just laying in bed resting my head on my husband's chest, listening to his heart beat as he slept. It's the most relaxing sound in the world to me, when I'm there it's peaceful. I don't have to worry whether he's safe, or when I will hear his voice again, I can just relax. I started thinking about deployment though, how it's slowly creeping its way closer into our lives. In less than 6 months my heart will be torn in two when half of it has to go away for so many months. It terrifies me. So for now I will make the most out of the time we have together before he leaves. Right now we have a couple weeks left before he will go underway again, the longest one we've been through yet. Ugh.
On a lighter note, we had a great time this weekend. His cousin Sarah came on Friday night and we took her out to lunch & to a club on Saturday night. Sunday we all went shopping and I got some really cute stuff from Express.
We also took Mojo to Pet Smart to get him some new toys and more puppy food. He found this cute little carrot toy, and we're having trouble getting away from him now. He won't let the other dogs play with it either, he takes right out of their mouth anytime he sees them with it.

I WON!!!!
I am so excited I just won a giveaway from "Flip Flops and Combat Boots"! This one was really important to me because it was based on what it means to be a Navy wife, and being a Navy wife is what my life revolves around. I love my husband and support him in every way imaginable. So here was my entry for the contest along with my favorite picture of us together:

Make sure you visit Nicole @ Flip Flops and Combat Boots if you haven't already she hosts ssome awesome giveaways & has recently been made a giveaway manager so there will be many more to come!
Also visit Anchors Away on Etsy she was awesome and donated the adorable clutch I just won, so you can get your very own!
"I was very scared when my hubby first told me what he did for a living, because on the night we met I already knew I was in love with him. Our relationship moved very fast, and three months from the day we met, we were married. It was very scary not knowing what I was getting into.
Now that I am a military wife, my life has changed significantly, and I love it. To me being a Navy wife means always being there to support my husband, & to stand up for what he does. It means life is always an adventure because you never know where you will be living next, or how much time you have before he leaves. It has taught me so much about life that I am thankful for. It saddens me to see so many who don't stop to take in how great it can be. I have learned to live every day like it could be the last, and I enjoy life so much more now. It has taught me to enjoy the little things more than anything else. It has taught me to savor every little kiss, every touch, and every beautiful word that comes from his mouth.
Being a Navy wife means everything to me, I honestly can't remember what it was like before all the craziness. Military life has also been very important to me because of the friends I have made. I have developed some of the most enjoyable relationships with other military wives, ones that I will always hold on to. I am proud every day I wake up knowing that I am married to a sailor who defends my freedom, and having that feeling when he holds me in his arms that nothing can harm me. He truly is my hero, he has shown me what life can be.
Most of all it means I have learned that he loves me more than world, but the Navy comes first. It means knowing he won't always be there for important events, but he still cares. It means I have to be independent and learn to take over his part when he's gone. It means that we have a special sort of relationship that has grown, and continues to grow amazingly strong because with every absence we only love each other more."
and here is the lovely prize that I won, I am so excited I can't wait to get it, so I can show it off!!!

Oh the Excitement!
I've been so busy these last couple days with the family visiting! They got here with a van load full of goodies. They brought us two bedside tables, a desk, a TV stand, some adorable chairs for our balcony, my paintings that I wasn't able to bring before, and a box full of various candles and decorations I had left behind as well. So my house is slowly filling up with furniture and looking more like a home. I'm excited! My hubby is so excited his little brother is here, it's been seven months since he saw him last. We are hoping to take them out to the aquarium which is like my favorite place ever! Hubby bought me a membership there recently so now I can go whenever I want! He's the bestest!
Pics will come soon of the fun times we're having, but for now they are young, and still being lazy sleeping, which I don't mind because I have some catching up to do with button requests, and jewelry to make. Which reminds me, I am so excited to say I am doing the Jewelry for Brittany's wedding from "My Life as a Sailor's Princess" she is getting married at the end of this month!
Be sure you all go and check out my new blog for Gambizzle Jewels where you are now able to pay with a credit card so purchases are SO much easier & you get your jewels a lot faster! I am working on a "Pampered Pooch" collection now featuring collar charms, and sparkly jewels! How exciting, so keep checking for adorable charms for your spoiled little pooches! Here's an example of what's to come...

Writing for J
This is JD's grave only a few days ago.
I just read a new blog called "Writing for J" and I am very saddened by her story. Her brother JD only 22 years old, was a soldier in the Army who was killed in the Shooting at Fort Hood which hits me personally being from Texas. JD was killed eight months ago and due to his "Wife" has yet to receive a headstone on his grave. What has she been doing instead? Spending all of his money on things like a boob job and apparently going on vacation with another guy right after her husband was killed! This makes me sick and there are many horrible things I want to say about her, but I won't instead I will pass along JD's story to all of my lovely blog readers & ask that you help pray for the family and honor JD. Help me spread the word about this man who protected our country, fought for our freedom, and served as many of our husbands do.
MMMM Cherries...
My favorite blog love Nicole has awarded me with this adorable "Cherries on Top" award and I'm so excited! She's the sweetest if you don't already follow her definitely go check her out you'll love her blog!
So the rules to this cute award are list three things that you love about yourself, and pass it on to five more bloggers who are extra special.
So hmmmm three things I love about myself?
- I love my creativity & imagination
- I love my huge kind heart
- I love my passion for life and the people in it
It's very difficult every time to choose the blogs to pass on the awards to because I love you all! here are the five I've chosen this time...
Recipe Exchange?
I had an idea this morning because I love to share my recipes with you, and I'd love to try out some of your favorites too! So I was thinking about doing some sort of recipe exchange. What I would like to do is start a book, like a scrapbook for the recipes, and pass it around to any of you who would like to join in. The book would come to your house, and then you would add your favorite recipe or recipes, and pass it on to the next person. You can copy all the recipes from the book before you pass it on! I'm very excited about this so please let me know if you would join in the fun with me if I get enough people interested I will get started on the book and let you all know more details.
Thursday Five
I love Thursdays don't you? I also love Thursday Five! Have no clue what I'm talking about? "Thursday Five" is a super cute little thing that is held over at "MannLand5" go check out her blog, and join in the fun! All you have to do is post FIVE things that have made you

So here are my five for the week...
I am happy to have his sweet kisses for almost three more weeks
I am giddy because I found this table
I am excited about my new hairstyle
I am appreciative for living on the beach and seeing this anytime I want
I am joyful because I live downtown and love taking pictures like this
